Death Valley and Alabama Hills

Death Valley often sets heat records in the summer, but our time there in February was quite pleasant. Sunrises and sunsets and other landscapes photo during the day kept us busy.  We were there just at the beginning of the Super bloom, so called because flowers bloom rarely.

South Dakota Highlights 

The Black Hills National Park of South Dakota contains one of the most famous landmarks in the United States.

Majestic figures of George Washington, Thomas Jefferson,Theodore Roosevelt and Abraham Lincoln surrounded by the beauty of the Black Hills.

Mt Rushmore is more than just a colossal sculpture, its a tribute to the birth growth development and preservation of the United States

----Lest we Forget!

The Avenue of 56 flags highlight the flags of all 50 States and a plaque noting the date the State joined the Union, one District and 5 for the territories.
